Abstract:

Many instructional situations warrant the awarding of letter grades for papers, reports, quizzes, etc. Each of these may constitute a different portion of the final course grade.  The process of translating each letter grade to a number, applying the appropriate weighting factor, and then determining the final letter grade, can be bothersome.  The author presents a computer program to easily handle this task.
