Abstract:

The theme I would like to develop concerns the basis and background of

religious beliefs and attitudes, both as they are essential to the formation of

explicit religions and as they relate to the occurrence of various kinds of implicit

religion. From a theoretical point of view I am interested in the perspectives

which are available to the study of religion, and which must be used if we

intend to come to an adequate understanding of religious issues.
