The nal phase of Miles’s live performances lasted almost exactly ten years – beginning with a gig at the Kix club in Boston on June 26, 1981 and ending on August 25, 1991 at the Hollywood Bowl in California. Miles toured extensively during his nal decade, criss crossing the US, Asia and Europe. During this period, both the music and his bands underwent a considerable transformation.
