2. studies of particular composersÂ’ and/or directorsÂ’ oeuvres (Chapters 5 and 14);


3. analyses of musical approaches used in particular subgenres or film series


(Chapters 3, 10, 11 and 12);


4. an analysis of the use and affectivity of sound in the (primarily) non-musical


soundtrack to a single film, The Blair Witch Project (Chapter 13).
