Abstract:
Clergy and psychiatrists should be natural allies in mental health care. Yet mutual misunderstandings and negative preconceptions remain to be overcome. This article explores some of these misunderstandings and preconceptions as they operate in the field of psychiatry, and suggests ways in which they might be broken down.
