Abstract:
Introduction Numerous theological and philosophical approaches are represented in the blossoming field of ecotheology. Versions of creation theology, process theology, biblical theology and natural theology can all be cited along with secular approaches such as the Gaia hypothesis. Each has its own set of assumptions and principles for promoting ecojustice. What is relatively rare in this literature is any serious attempt to start with the pivotal Christian message of the cross.
