Abstract:
If we, human beings on earth, are to come to terms with the crisis we face, it will demand all of our resources—our energy, commitment, imagination, vision and expertise. One important resource is religious faith. Faith can provide an ecological ethos and a foundation for an ecological ethics. It can, of course, also be used to provide a rationale for domination and exploitation.
