Abstract:

This paper reports on the grammatical and programmatical production aspects of the Hebrewer, a cross-platform web-based reference work in the form of a Hebrew inflection generator. The Hebrewer, a Java applet/servlet combination, is currently capable of generating 2,500 nouns in full declension and 500 verbs in full conjugation, displaying the results in vocalized Hebrew and allowing users to print the inflection charts.
