Abstract:

The final article in this issue responds to the major study of Hawaiian music in Australia published in v2n2 by discussing aspects of the relationship between Hawaiian music styles and 'jazzing' in early Twentieth Century music, providing another
account of the global influence of this mediated form of Pacific music.
