This sūra is devoted almost entirely to the story of Moses. It features accounts of his early life, call to be a
messenger, struggles with Pharaoh, exodus from Egypt, and finally the episode of ‘the calf.’ It concludes
with sections on the Last Day and the ‘covenant with Adam.’
