In Chapter 2, Ingrid Freeman and Jane Kelly describe the methodology’s impact in an Australian primary school with a high proportion of children with special needs. Over three years, R2L became a whole school pedagogy, leading to the successful integration of special needs students into mainstream classes, and accelerating the whole school’s learning results well above national averages.
