J.R. Collis Publications has published more than 50 monographs over the past 20 years. There are three series: Recent Trends This series presents collected papers delivering research on recent work and ideas in the various periods of British prehistory and also thematic papers addressing areas such as environment, agricultural production, animal bones, and industrial production and exchange. Sheffield Archaeological Monographs This international series provides a forum for publication of high quality and innovative studies in the field of archaeology, prehistory and archaeological science. It covers a wide range of topics including regional studies, surveys, excavation reports and methodological studies. Sheffield Excavation Reports This series provides comprehensive accounts of several major British excavations such as those in Beverley, the Anglo-Saxon cemetery near Barton-on-Humber and Ilchester. These sites are wherever possible interpreted in the light of documentary evidence and their regional context.
