Abstract:

Niles' article outlines the lack of music copyright in Papua New Guinea, one of the countries still to become a signatory to international copyright conventions. As Niles outlines, the issue of music copyright in a small country such as PNG is
complex; and its introduction is not necessarily beneficial to PNG's national music industry.
