Cornelia is one of the most famous women from late Republican Rome. She was the daughter of Publius Scipio Africanus, and married another leading politician, Tiberius Sempronius Gracchus. Two fragments of a letter attributed to Cornelia have been preserved in some of the manuscripts of Cornelius Nepos.
