Characters describe their Eid/religious celebrations in times of war and conflict. Despite the ongoing conflict in Syria, people celebrate religious festivities. Syrian families try to instill hope in their children’s hearts, and rejoice in Ramadan, Eid and Christian ceremonies. Characters describe the role of religion in popular resistance and resilience to war and chaos, and discuss whether/how traditions and customs help people who are living through disruptive conflict.
