Book: Pagan Religions in Five Minutes

Chapter: 52. Is there Antipathy between Pagans and Christians?

DOI: 10.1558/equinox.45519

Blurb:

The relationship between Pagans and Christians is complex, influenced by historical conflicts and contemporary perceptions. While some Christians hold negative views of Pagans, and Pagans often criticise Christianity for its historical actions, there is potential for positive interaction. Both can find commonality in spiritual values and a shared environmental concern. Increasingly, interfaith encounters are fostering understanding and cooperation despite theological differences.
